Huis De Kuilen was established with the financial support and assistance of the community and the Dutch Reformed Church. We provide not only a home for the elderly but also deliver services to the community through an active service center. Huis de Kuilen is part of the Badisa program. Huis De Kuilen was officially opened on 19 September 1975 by the Hon. Chris Heunis, then Minister of Economic Affairs. The facility has a capacity for 150 residents, of whom nearly 50% require special care, such as Alzheimer’s and frail care. Here, we are blessed with residents who have century old life stories to share.
